Museum CEO is devoted to bringing books to the attention of leaders and their teams in pursuit of better. The site was created by Barry Van Deman in 2024. Barry is an accomplished nonprofit executive who has led organizational change efforts, strategic planning, and growth in five museums. With a lifelong passion for science and science education, Barry applied his experience and expertise as CEO, grant maker, author, consultant, teacher, board member, and volunteer. Over the course of his career, he held leadership roles in museums, associations, and federal government, as well as in teaching and school administration, K-12 and undergraduate and graduate levels.​​ Barry is a consultant to museum CEOs and their teams.
